No. We do not treat or diagnose specific conditions. Diagnosing and treating conditions is what the current medical model does. The integrative functional holistic medical model, practiced at Rheumawell does not treat or diagnose specific conditions, instead, we look for root causes and metabolic disorders therein causing your symptoms so that we can understand how to best address the hidden stressors and support you optimally.

Labs are drop shipped to the shipping address you provided and can take around 7 or more days to be delivered. (International shipping takes longer). It is very important that you follow the instructions that come with your labs. Get the labs done as soon as you can. Results can take between 3- 4 weeks to complete depending on the type of lab.

You will be notified by our office once we receive your lab results. Once your labs are in, you can schedule your Lab Review appointment. This appointment will be an hour in length where we will review your labs with you and make recommendations based on your test results.

Labs recommendations vary depending on the severity of your problem. So lab prices can also vary three hundred dollars up to several thousand. We will always discuss lab options with you, and base the recommendations on your history and the type of help you are wanting.

Yes. There is an additional charge to ship outside of the United States depending on where the labs are being shipped.

Our objective is to get to the root cause of conditions, regardless of what they are. We will use your history and your lab data to look at the roots of your symptom or condition to help us understand what is causing your condition.

No. We do not bill insurance. You are responsible for the cost of the program and Payment is expected at the time of service.

Rheumawell cannot file a claim with your insurance carrier, nor can we provide a procedure (CPT) code for this service.

The reason is that the insurance model does not recognize this type of health care yet. The current medical system under the coverage of health insurance is based on a model of ‘Diagnose and Treat’ where the treatments typically consist of a pharmaceutical to cover the symptom or surgery. The integrative functional holistic model of health care does not diagnose and does not treat. As a result, our model does not fall under insurance coverage. We look forward to when insurance companies will catch up and adopt this new model of healthcare.
